THE CHEESEGRATER

The Leadenhall Building in our fair city of London is officially open for business. Already 90% occupied, the architects used pioneering techniques to build the new skyscraper with 80 percent of the building prefabricated before being assembled on-site. The 610,000-square-foot, 45-floor tower's unusual design is a result of the city's protected sight line of St. Paul's Cathedral planning restriction.
